Softball Game Preview: Scott Skyhawks vs. Winfield Generals

Scott hasn't had much luck against Winfield recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Skyhawks will challenge the Generals at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Scott's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They blew past Poca 22-0. The win continues a trend for the Skyhawks in their matchups with the Dots: they've now won four in a row.

Winfield came out on top against St. Albans on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fifth inning. The Generals beat the Red Dragons by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 9-1.

Scott's record is now 20-5. As for Winfield, their record now sits at 17-6.

Scott couldn't quite finish off Winfield in their previous meeting on Monday and fell 4-2. Can the Skyhawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
