Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln-Way West Warriors vs. Lockport Porters

Lincoln-Way West is 1-9 against Lockport since November of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Lincoln-Way West Warriors will be playing in front of their home fans against the Lockport Porters at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Lincoln-Way West's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches.

Lincoln-Way West took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 65-43 margin over Oak Forest.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Lockport over Joliet Central in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Lockport strolled past Joliet Central with points to spare, taking the game 63-47. Given the Porters' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 131st, while the Steelmen are ranked 510th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory got Lincoln-Way West back to even at 12-12. As for Lockport, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.
