Soccer Recap: Mendota Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Mendota has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They came up short against the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses on Monday, falling 6-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Dixon this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in April.

Mendota's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7-1. As for Dixon, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-6-1 record this season.

Mendota does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dixon, they will welcome Sterling at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
