After a string of five wins, Fairhaven's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Bridgewater Wildcats. The Blue Devils were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wildcats earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Fairhaven started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-16.

Carlee Bissonnette paced Fairhaven's offense, picking up ten kills. Bissonnette got some help from Sophia Lomba and her 19 assists. Kylin Trahan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Fairhaven's loss dropped their record down to 7-3. As for West Bridgewater, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Fairhaven is set to take on their familiar foe Old Rochester Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, West Bridgewater will square off against rival Somerset Berkley Regional at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
