Volleyball Recap: Muncie Central Takes a Loss

Muncie Central lost against Muncie Burris back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bearcats came up short against the Owls, falling 3-0. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-20, 25-15.

Chloe Miller paced Muncie Central's offense, picking up eight kills. Miller got some help from Grace Walker and her 18 assists. Miller was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Muncie Central's defeat dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Muncie Burris, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season.

Muncie Central has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Marion on the 11th. As for Muncie Burris, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Pendleton Heights on the 8th.
