Volleyball Recap: East Nicolaus Extends Winning Streak to Three

East Nicolaus entered their tilt with Gridley on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Kendall Kocher paced East Nicolaus' offense, picking up ten kills. Kocher got some help from Shelby Scoggins and her 13 assists. Makinze Massey controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

East Nicolaus' win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Gridley, their loss was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.

East Nicolaus wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Pierce on the 23rd. As for Gridley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Orland on the 23rd.
