Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Paynesville on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 10-3 victory. The game was the first time the Tigers have beaten the Bulldogs on their field since April 14, 2015.

Alex Asmus made a splash no matter where he played. He tossed seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Asmus was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
