Lindsay not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Alpaugh Buffalos. This was payback for the Cardinals, who suffered a 3-2 loss the last time these two teams met.
Lindsay walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-12, 25-16, 25-17.
Lindsay found their leader in sophomore Hayleigh Tenorio, who had 12 digs and two assists.
Lindsay was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 23 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alpaugh only served five aces.
Alpaugh's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Udalys Diaz, who had eight digs and six assists.
Lindsay has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Alpaugh, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
