Volleyball Recap: Sophie Frank Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat Freeman

Aledo saw some tournament action on Thursday. They came out on top against the Freeman Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bearcats.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Aledo took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14.

Aledo's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Sophie Frank, who had five digs and two aces.

Aledo couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 44.4% of their attack attempts. The last time their hitting percentage was this high was back in October of 2024.

Aledo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Jersey Village on the 14th. As for Freeman, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Canyon on the 14th.
