Lyons-Decatur Northeast hadn't done well against Ponca recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Cougars won by a set and slipped past the Indians 2-1. For the Cougars, this counts as revenge for the 2-0 win the Indians walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.
