Basketball Recap: Carnegie Has No Trouble Against Healdton

On Friday, the Carnegie Wildcats didn't have too much trouble with the Healdton Bulldogs as they won 64-50.

Carnegie can attribute much of their success to Uzziah Ahhaitty, who went 6-for-8 on his way to 18 points. The dominant performance also gave Ahhaitty a new career-high in field goal percentage (75%). Another player making a difference was Kevin Galvez, who posted eight points and five boards.

Carnegie now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Healdton, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16.

Carnegie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-51 loss against Sterling on the 15th. Healdton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
