Holy Cross made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Bethlehem, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Cougars fell just short of the Eagles/Banshees by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The Cougars' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Peyton McVey made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.

Holy Cross' defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Bethlehem, they pushed their record up to 15-13 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.
