Baseball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They lost 9-2 to the Rocky River Pirates. That's two games in a row now that the Rockets have lost by exactly seven runs.

Bay's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Rocky River, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-7.

Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Rocky River, they will be playing at home against Buckeye at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pirates are on a five-game streak of home wins, the Bucks a four-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
