Aztec and Los Lunas are an even 5-5 against one another since August of 2015, but likely not for long. Aztec will host Los Lunas at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Aztec needed a bit of extra time to put away Bloomfield. They beat the Bobcats by a goal, winning 2-1. The game was the first time Aztec have beaten Bloomfield on their pitch since October 11, 2022.

Destri Hudman was the driving force of Aztec's attack as she scored both of Aztec's goals, bringing her season total up to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Los Lunas entered their tilt with Rio Grande on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They never let the Ravens get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. The result was nothing new for Los Lunas, who have now won four contests by nine goals or more so far this season.

Los Lunas' victory bumped their record up to 5-6-1. As for Aztec, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Aztec suffered a grim 6-2 defeat to Los Lunas in their previous meeting back in September of 2024. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Aztec was down 4-1.
