Soccer Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell just short of the West Florida Jaguars by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, the Tornadoes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 469th, while the Jaguars are ranked 57th).

Bay's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for West Florida, the win keeps them at an undefeated 8-0-1.

Bay has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against North Bay Haven Academy on the 6th. As for West Florida, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Fort Walton Beach on the 7th.
