Roosevelt is a perfect 8-0 against Centennial since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Roosevelt Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Centennial Huskies at 5:45 p.m.

Roosevelt is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Santiago just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Sharks by a score of 3-2.

Roosevelt couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Santiago a tough time in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 32-30, 18-25, 18-25, 25-13, 15-6.

Meanwhile, Centennial hadn't done well against Norco recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Centennial was the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Norco. The Huskies not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 20th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-23, 25-23.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 9-7.

Roosevelt took their win against Centennial when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Roosevelt since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
