Canyon Crest Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost to the Pacific Ridge Firebirds on the road by a 57-38 margin.

Canyon Crest Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Pacific Ridge, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Looking ahead, Canyon Crest Academy will take on Santana at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Pacific Ridge, they will face off against Coronado at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
