Softball Recap: Eastern Takes a Loss

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Eastern was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They came up short against the Shawnee Renegades, falling 12-2. The Vikings were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Renegades earlier this season, when they won 6-2.

Eastern's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Shawnee, with the win, they broke their nine-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-12.

Eastern wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 14-2 defeat against Cherry Hill East on the 7th. As for Shawnee, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-6 loss against Cherokee on the 7th.
