            Lake Lure Classical Academy hasn't had much luck on the road recently (they'd lost nine straight) but thanks in part to  Landry Mize that streak is no more. The Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors skirted past the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles  41-39 thanks in part to  Mize, who  almost  dropped  a double-double on 16  points and nine  boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Lake Lure Classical Academy's points.

Lake Lure Classical Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
 Lake Lure Classical Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Temple Baptist at 6:30  p.m.  on January 21st. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  game,  a  64-41  defeat against Carolina Day on the 8th.
