Basketball Recap: Blazer Takes Down Ranked George Washington

Blazer is ranked highly in their home state and on Tuesday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of George Washington. The Blazer Tomcats managed a 64-60 win over the George Washington Patriots. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tomcats also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Blazer is also on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for George Washington, with the defeat, they broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 13-1.

Blazer will square off against Huntington at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for George Washington, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hurricane at 7:00 p.m.
