Basketball Recap: St. Ignace Comes Up Short

St. Ignace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They fell 38-27 to the Sault Area Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 44-38 two weeks ago.

St. Ignace's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Sault Area, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-17.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Ignace will square off against Newberry at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Sault Area, they are taking a road trip to take on Gaylord at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
