Volleyball Recap: Marshall Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Marshall's tournament run continued when they took on Lincoln Academy on Saturday. The Cardinals walked away with a 2-0 win over Lincoln Academy.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Marshall was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-10.

Kenzie Logan paced Marshall's offense, picking up five kills. Logan got some help from Neelah Klubertanz and her 12 assists. Summer Hellenbrand and Kennedy Weisensel kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with four aces apiece.

Marshall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season. As for Lincoln Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.

As of now, neither Marshall nor Lincoln Academy have any future games scheduled.
