Basketball Game Preview: Hightstown Rams vs. Hamilton Hornets

The Hightstown Rams and the Hamilton Hornets will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hightstown will be strutting in after a win while Hamilton will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with four defeats in a row dating back to last season, Hightstown turned things around against Princeton on Tuesday. They took down the Tigers 60-44.

Meanwhile, Hamilton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-52 heartbreaker at the hands of West Windsor-Plainsboro South.

Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hightstown, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Hightstown skirted past Hamilton 46-44 when the teams last played back in January. Will Hightstown repeat their success, or does Hamilton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
