After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Christ the Cornerstone Academy, Antioch Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Mullins Marion Christian Cavaliers by a score of 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Gators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Antioch Christian Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-16.

Antioch Christian Academy's record now sits at 5-6. As for Mullins Marion Christian, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Antioch Christian Academy is set to square off against their familiar foe Cornerstone Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mullins Marion Christian will face off against rival Grace Christian on Tuesday.
