Softball Recap: Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Comes Up Short

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Dakota Valley Panthers.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Dakota Valley, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6.

Mt. Vernon/Plankinton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dakota Valley, they will face off against Madison on June 5. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
