Basketball Game Preview: Rolesville Rams vs. Heritage Huskies

The Rolesville Rams will take on the Heritage Huskies at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Rolesville has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.

Rolesville is headed into the match after thoroughly thrashing Millbrook: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Rolesville blew Millbrook out of the water with a 75-39 final score. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 25 points or more this season.

Rolesville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Caitlyn Jones led the charge by going 9 of 18 on her way to 19 points in addition to five assists and five boards. The game was Jones' third in a row with at least 17 points. Jahriell Murchison was another key player, going 6 for 10 to rack up 15 points along with seven steals and five assists.

Jones wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Rolesville was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists.they posted seven more assists than Millbrook's almost as impressive total of 12

Meanwhile, Heritage came up short against Knightdale on Friday, falling 51-30. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Knights recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Rolesville's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Heritage, they now have a losing record at 10-11.

Everything came up roses for Rolesville against Heritage in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as the squad secured a 62-22 victory. Does Rolesville have another victory up their sleeve, or will Heritage turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
