Batavia is 8-2 against St. Charles North since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Batavia Bulldogs are taking a road trip to challenge the St. Charles North North Stars at 7:15 p.m. St. Charles North took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Batavia, who comes in off a win.

Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Batavia beat Geneva 43-39. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 41st, while the Vikings are ranked 237th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kaidyn King was nothing short of spectacular: she went 6 of 13 en route to 15 points in addition to five assists and five steals. Hallie Crane was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, St. Charles North was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 53-49 to St. Charles East.

Batavia's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 18-8. As for St. Charles North, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-6.

Batavia beat St. Charles North 47-36 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Batavia since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
