Soccer Recap: South Iredell Takes a Loss

After flying high against West Cabarrus last Tuesday, South Iredell came back down to earth. The Vikings lost 4-1 to the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for South Iredell in their meetings with Hickory Ridge: they've now lost four in a row.

South Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 7-6-1. As for Hickory Ridge, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-0-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. South Iredell will face off against rival Lake Norman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hickory Ridge is set to take on their familiar foe Cox Mill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
