Clayton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They never let the Orchard Farm Eagles get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Clayton's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Clayton pushed their record up to 11-9-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those five matchups. As for Orchard Farm, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-5-1.

Coming up, Clayton will face off against Pleasant Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Pleasant Hill will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Clayton surely won't give up without a fight. Orchard Farm does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
