Softball Preview: Pearl Pirates vs. Richland Rangers

The Pearl Pirates will take on the Richland Rangers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Pearl is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.

Lilly Byrd was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had since back in March. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 1-for-3.
