Soccer Recap: Batavia Comes Up Short

Batavia came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers.

Batavia's defeat dropped their record down to 7-7-1. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Batavia will challenge Kaneland at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Kaneland will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Batavia surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wheaton-Warrenville South, they will head out to challenge Bettendorf at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
