Volleyball Recap: Eldorado Comes Up Short

Eldorado lost against Bishop Gorman on April 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Firehawks lost 3-0 to the Gaels. The Firehawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-17, 25-15.

Gabriel Lacaran paced Eldorado's offense, picking up six kills. Lacaran got some help from Crew Howard and his 15 assists. Howard was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Eldorado's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Bishop Gorman, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-14.

Eldorado didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Cimarron-Memorial on the 22nd. As for Bishop Gorman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Somerset Sky Pointe on the 22nd.
