Everything went their way against the Interlake Saints on Monday as Holy Names Academy made off with a 21-11 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Holy Names Academy as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Frannie Gimbl was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Those hits marked the first that she allowed this season. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-6 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.

In other batting news, Lee Smedstad was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
