Basketball Game Preview: South Rowan Raiders vs. East Davidson Golden Eagles + How To Watch

South Rowan and East Davidson are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2017, but not for long. The Raiders will be playing in front of their home fans against the Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, South Rowan put up the most points they have all season on Wednesday. They enjoyed a cozy 69-50 victory over Trinity. With that win, the Raiders brought their scoring average up to 53.2 points per game.

South Rowan found their leader in freshman Anderson Pauley, who posted 32 points. Pauley's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Dacorian Pharr, who had eight points.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East Davidson, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They managed a 58-54 victory over South Davidson on Wednesday. The Golden Eagles haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

East Davidson's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for South Rowan, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

South Rowan strolled past East Davidson when the teams last played back in February of 2021 by a score of 52-38. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Golden Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
