Baseball Recap: Marion County Takes a Loss

Marion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 15-2 to the Lamar County Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Red Raiders have lost by exactly 13 runs.

Marion County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Lamar County, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Lamar County beat Marion County by a score of 11-1 later that day.
