Basketball Recap: Huckabay Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Slidell, Huckabay was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They managed a 38-34 win over the Bethesda Christian Lions. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Indians as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Huckabay's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Bethesda Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season.

Huckabay and Three Way will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bethesda Christian, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Victory Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
