Baseball Recap: Wolfson Has No Trouble Against Riverside

Wolfson's game on Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 18-3 margin over the Riverside Generals. The win continues a trend for the Wolfpack in their matchups with the Generals: they've now won five in a row.

Caleb Camden was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Wolfson is undefeated when Camden posts two or more runs, but 7-14 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Delancy, Jr, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.

Camden wasn't the only one making solid contact: Wolfson kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. The Wolfpack are a perfect 4-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

Wolfson's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Riverside, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Wolfson will take on Stanton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Riverside, they will venture away from home to square off against Sandalwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Saints have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
