Kent Denver has not lost a match since August 28th, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past The Academy 2-1. Given Kent Denver's advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 15th, while The Academy are ranked 126th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Kent Denver has been performing incredibly well recently, winning five of their last six games. That run has powered them to a 7-1-4 record this season. The wins were made possible by their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those six matches. As for The Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Kent Denver is set to take on their familiar foe Jefferson Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, The Academy will challenge their in-conference opponent Forge Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
