Baseball Recap: Ridgeview Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Ridgeview's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the First Coast Buccaneers on Thursday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

Ridgeview's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for First Coast, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

The future could be bright for both Ridgeview and First Coast: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Ridgeview will try to hand Knoxville Catholic their fourth-straight defeat when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, First Coast will look to extend Baldwin's three-game losing streak when they meet at 4:00 p.m. on March 20th.
