Football Recap: Tripoli Comes Up Short

Tripoli lost against Don Bosco back in October of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers took a blow against the Dons, falling 55-6. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa football rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Dons are ranked 13th).

Tripoli dropped their record down to 1-6 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Don Bosco, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

As of now, neither Tripoli nor the Dons have any future games scheduled.
