Baseball Game Preview: Ranchview Wolves vs. Lake Dallas Falcons

The Ranchview Wolves will head out to face off against the Lake Dallas Falcons at 1:30 p.m. on Friday. Ranchview is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.

Ranchview's last matchup with Lake Dallas could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Tuesday. Ranchview lost 17-11 to Lake Dallas. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacob Harms made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Ranchview: the team is 3-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 2-5-1 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Gonzalez, who went 2-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles.

Even though they lost, Ranchview kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Ranchview now has a losing record of 5-6-1. As for Lake Dallas, they moved to 4-8 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.
