Basketball Recap: Pleasant View Christian Continues Home Dominance on Friday

Pleasant View Christian had won two straight games and Trey Barge did his part to make it three on Friday. The Pleasant View Christian Warriors walked away with a 66-58 win over the Franklin Road Christian Minutemen thanks in part to Barge, who went 9 of 16 en route to 22 points and seven rebounds. Barge is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Several Minutemen players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Pierre DeShields, who posted six points and 11 boards. Wes Fuqua was another key player, going 7 for 15 on his way to 15 points and three steals.

Pleasant View Christian pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Franklin Road Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 17-10.

Pleasant View Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 84-66 win against South Haven Christian on the 25th. As for Franklin Road Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 69-62 victory against Lancaster Christian Academy on the 28th.
