Basketball Recap: Cave Spring Knights vs. Salem Spartans
Cave Spring lost against Salem back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cave Spring Knights were beaten by the Salem Spartans 58-21. The contest marked the Knights' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
Leading Salem to victory were Charli Wynn and Bailey Rider. Wynn went 5 for 8 on her way to 10 points and five steals, while Rider posted five points in addition to nine steals and six assists. Rider is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Emme Custer, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 11 points.
