Vista Ridge is 5-0 against Hutto since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Vista Ridge Rangers will host the Hutto Hippos at 7:00 p.m. Vista Ridge will be strutting in after a victory while Hutto will be coming in after a loss.

Vista Ridge is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing Manor: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Vista Ridge blew Manor out of the water with an 83-38 final score. The Rangers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Hutto opened the new year with a less-than-successful 64-54 defeat to Vandegrift. While losing is never fun, the Hippos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Vipers are ranked 86th).

Vista Ridge is on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 19 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.2 points per game. As for Hutto, they dropped their record down to 12-13 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
