Soccer Recap: Unity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Unity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Islamic Foundation Chargers. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Unity Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Unity Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Islamic Foundation, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unity Christian Academy will venture away from home to face off against Manteno at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Islamic Foundation, they will head out to take on MCC at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
