Volleyball Recap: Eastbrook Takes a Loss

Eastbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the South Adams Starfires, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-15.

Eastbrook's offense was headlined by Adrianna Cogan and Bristol Brodkorb, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Sloan Brown and her seven assists.

Reagan Beitler was the offensive standout of the match as she had four digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Eastbrook's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for South Adams, their record is now 10-1.

Eastbrook didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Wabash on the 28th. As for South Adams, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Bellmont on the 28th.
