In what's become a running theme this season, Sipsey Valley gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They put the hurt on the University Charter Trail Blazers with a sharp 13-1 victory. Winning may never get old, but Sipsey Valley sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.

Barkley Higginbotham made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits (she also didn't allow any walks). Higginbotham was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and a double.

In other batting news, Sipsey Valley let E.K. Lyons and Katie Grace Lowery loose on the outfield. Lyons scored two runs while going 3-for-3, while Lowery scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Sarah Aaron was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

Sipsey Valley has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for University Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
