Game recap: Liberty High School Football Team defeats Foothill

HENDERSON, Nev. - Liberty (Henderson, Nev.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring seven in the fourth quarter to seal a 34-12 victory over Foothill (Henderson, Nev.).

After taking the lead on a touchdown in the first quarter, the Patriots led 20-6 at the half.

Liberty grew its lead to 15 points entering the fourth quarter. LHS's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown pass by Tyler Newman to Bryan Roland.

Coming into the game the Patriots had allowed 23.4 points per game this year. The defense really stepped up, holding the Falcons well below their season average of 33.5 points scored per game.



LHS also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 48-25.

The loss comes after Foothill defeated Eldorado 42-18 last week.
