On Tuesday Brody Foltz tossed 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The effort marked the fewest earned runs Foltz has had since back in April of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than two walks. For the year, he has an ERA of 6.13 over 8 innings pitched.

Even though Foltz couldn't lead Yorktown over New Palestine, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2019, but a win here would be a good start.
