That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 25.1 points per game. As for Southside Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.
Crossroads Christian Academy was taken down by Southside Christian 74-29 in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. The contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Crossroads Christian Academy was down 46-12.
